Verulam Wine Tasting Club meets regularly to taste wines in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. We warmly welcome new members. If you are interested in joining, or would like to come along to see what our meetings are like, please email us at info@vwtc.org.uk

The club came into existence in autumn 1978 and currently has over a hundred members. Tastings are held ten times a year - we take July and August off.

The calendar usually consist of eight 'regular' tastings where we sample 8 to 10 wines presented by a guest speaker. The other two events are 'Specials' normally consisting of a dinner with matching fine wines in June and a fun informal blind tasting in January.

On occasion there may even be extra events - away trips for example - open to all members but outside of, and in addition to, the normal calendar. In the past trips have been arranged to Rioja, the Lille wine fair, Alsace, Epernay and Burgundy. You can have a look at the recent past events on our website http://www.vwtc.org.uk/

The Club is independent and non-profitmaking and is managed by a revolving committee of members. Club membership is £10.00 per annum and the charge per tasting is normally about £16 for members and £20 for guests.
