First the good news – 2007, the tenth anniversary year, will have another full programme of slightly crazy events. The club motto is ‘Any similarity to a serious wine tasting is purely co-incidental, but there are always serious wines’.
Next the bad news – 2007 will be the last year that the club will meet in London : we are all being transported to the wilds of Newport in Welsh Wales.
We meet in the basement of the ONS, so once you’ve hiked up from the tube, you have to go back into the bowels of the earth. With any luck the wine will be set up, and Chris will arrive with bicycle panniers full of bread and cheese.
Events are organised at the last minute, and themes will only be announced a week or so before the tasting. The only way to find out is to join the e-mail list.
