The Hextable Wine Society is a friendly and informal group of wine enthusiasts meeting in Swanley, between Sevenoaks and Dartford in Kent . The Society was formed in 1988 and meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 8.00pm in a very pleasant room in a local sports centre.
Most evenings we have a guest speaker, usually a professional Wine Educator, but we do occasionally have “in house” tastings run by one or more of our members. Typically 8 wines will be presented and tasted. We cover a wide range of wines from all over the world.
There is an annual membership fee, plus a small charge to cover the costs of the speaker, wines, room, etc.
We have a very broad range of ages and wine-knowledge, so there is no reason why anybody should feel awkward or out of place, and new members are always welcome.
